What do you do and/or would like to do in Atlas City?

I would love to write and teach. I am a creative writer; as well as a teacher. I had to find a job and career that is not my ideal.

What education do you have or would like to acquire?
I have a BS in communications,working on a master's in psychology. I would like to continue learning but I am already into much debt. I would like an education that is open ended; meaning I can start and stop when ever I need to with no moneterial punishments.

Are you interested in living in Atlas City?
Yes; I wanted to get into politics along time a go so I could become mayor in Kansas City,mo. Yet I found out that current poltics is coperate and I wanted to implement an idea like this.
Do you have skills to help build Atlas City?
Yes not psychically; I am not very strong but I have the creativity and plenty of ideas.

Have you decided what committee you would like to join?
It depends on what choices there. I would love to be on a creative commitee that helps transform soceity through creative processes.

Have you studied Resource Based Economies or Venus Project, what are you thoughts or concerns?
No; I am new to this idea. I wrote a paper recently on something I call the human forumala and the percentage formula. The resouced based economy takes my ideas beyond my plans. My plans are sort of a stepping stone to wean off the need for money but it only patches an old collasping system.

How important do you think health and diet is in Atlas City?
Very important. In order to have a truly substainable society people need to be in good health.

Are you motivated by money, or integrity, love, purpose and social contribution?
I am nevr motivated by money. I am motivated by love, purpose and a need to change the world.

Tell us anything else about yourself you would like?
I used to be very conservative and did everything right. Worked 50 hours per week,went to church, got a degree yet it got me no where. I began a long exstensive search that lead me to some thoughts different from the norm. I was longer a conservative or a liberal; I was something else. I felt like an alien in a strange land.

The core of the city is a University - encouraging a life time of learning that is enjoyable and serving your interests! It is rediculous to see how our society inhibits much needed education for social growth with its archaic monetary system... people who want to learn, grow and contribute to society, will freely do so in Atlas City!

Take the time to watch some of the videos on RBE's on this site (scattered in our forums) and google Jacque Fresco and Venus Project (we are the most progressive group in the US currently active in implementing this concept).

You said "I am motivated by love, purpose and a need to change the world." and this makes you a perfect candidate to live in the city. I agree, so many people are not ready for this because they are motivated by money and they will need to stay in the monetary system - this is for those who live by a higher purpose than money.

I'm in the same boat. I'd love to learn for the rest of my life. Unfortunately, in this society you are titled a "professional student". In Atlas, all education is free and continued education is encouraged.
