Atlas City Project

Hello,

EOS and RBEF have been working together to bring about a webpage for the Technate -- the group that joins us all. The primary purpose of this hub website is for new people who had not yet chosen to be a part of any one of our groups, to learn about us and our activities.

Consequentially there is a page about the Atlas Initiative as well:

I have taken some sample text from your website for a quick description of your aims. If you wish to change this with something else, please send me the text and I will enter it.

I like it so far. I'll have to thoroughly go through more later.

And the first obvious advantage of this project is that I could easily navigate from there by simply clicking and posting here

Seriously though,the project is an idea for the simple platform for the cross-communication within our group, since the goals are more or less the same - it is not about anyone belonging to anything!

The next step is the integration of the IRC to all websites, so we can have the constant communication going on, no matter which website you are browsing. Contact Venux (RBEF) or Jure (EOS) or DustWolf for details - I have no IT knoledge of whatsoever

If Atlas wishes to have the Atlas icon in the news feed like EOS and RBEF currently do, you will have to provide an Atom feed.

Your MediaWiki can provide an Atom feed, however Kunena (your forum engine) does not do so by default. If you wish to use my hack for providing an Atom feed, you can download it here:

We (EOS) would be willing to provide a feed aggregator for that as well.

P.S.: The advantage of Atom over RSS 2.0 is possibly debatable, however Atom is more tidy and standards compliant, making it easier to process by other software.

i am not in tune with what is going on for our website back end, however, I would like to say that I like this technate hub and the page for Atlas looks really good. Thank you for all your work!

I hope Rob knows what all that means. In the meantime, is there a way you can use one of our icons, or we can send you something?

Why does the tab read "Terran Technate"?

Seems like it only posts new threads on the hub, not comments or replies. Or it's not working at all since I don't see any Atlas posts for a while. It would be nice to have The NZP on there, and maybe a translator for some of the other thread posts.
