Hi guys,
just wanted to give a little shout. I'm a web developer and Venus Project enthusiast, and I had contacted Robert a little while ago and talked about you guys' thoughts and where I could help.
Sounds like you guys could use a little sprucing up on the website side of things and I would like to pitch in to help wherever possible in my free time (not just on the web side of things).
When I made contact initially, I had intentions of gathering some sort of boiler plate of what an RBE would require for tracking and managing resources, information, and the like. My goal is ultimately to provide a solid platform for emerging RBEs to enter in their data and also view it and other data graphically.
I know the finished product will probably render in a matter of years, and that is without integrating global data such as:
- Resource Detection (water table etc)
- species migration in real time
- Weather tracking|predicting (automated)
- And other data flows which Jacque Fresco has mentioned (Population, active aircraft, and other queried inputs)
As much as there will be a learning curve due this being an uncharted area of human social and technical exploration, a personal learning curve will also occur. Things like learning Google Maps API and others will help determine how long this takes, which is why the assembly of a development team will be necessary.
Apologies for that long-winded intro,
Best regards,
Cody
