The RBE concept requires a new way of thinking. This is the guide for those who want to learn to become an Atlasian. You must live it in your own life to understand and become it.

Many of us agree that social norms and things of social status are quite arbitrary and ridiculous, but is there a genetic reason shaping it?

There was another experiment I can't find of Discover Channel's "The Science of Lust." It put a sunglasses stand in front of a boring store on an average street and had men pick from two types of sunglasses. On the one side were the average, black rimmed, slick looking (but not intrusive) glasses that most of us may wear on a normal day. The other side some flashy, gold rimmed, attention grabbing (Flava Flav style) glasses. In front of the clothes store a high majority picked the average glasses. No one wanted to stand out and show off or be flashy. However, when moved in front of a sex store the men seemed to subconsciously pick the flashier ones (assumption that they wanted to stand out to attract a female). It seems, subconsciously, we are prone to many of the same flaunting generalizations that a male peacock displays on his feathers.

This arguement to me, seems to be more "Laws of attraction" and less "gentically superior/inferior".

Aren't they one in the same? That is the premise for the rest of the episode.
