I should have uploaded this a long time ago. It's a short clip from Stargate SG-1 about the Nox. Ya, I'm a dork. Deal with it.

"The young do not always do as they are told"


To completely understand you should watch the full 45 minutes available on youtube. SG-1 has been sent to see why this flying creature is able to become invisible. Unfortunately, they run into their nemesis there and all are killed/injured. They wake up in a hut of seemingly primitive locals, which they feel obligated to defend through violence (which the Nox are against).

After some philosophical debates SG-1 decides to leave the Nox to their own devices and hope for the best. They are surprised to see that not only do they not need to worry about the Nox, but they are far more advanced then could ever have been imagined (they are later classified as one of the 5 main races in the galaxy), yet they are peaceful.
