Atlas City Project

I can't find a free one yet, but this could help us remind people of meetings, events and other cool information quickly and efficiently. People are much more likely to read a text message then an email, and it's instant where emails may only be checked every few weeks.

This is the service that you text a word to some 5 digit phone number to subscribe. Then that allows us to mass text all subscribers at once.

if we get this student organization, from the meeting we went to tonight we could get some really cool opportunities which are cooler then SMS, such as free plasma screen TV advertising in the student union at unlv, and help with flyer and brochure design by professionals at the marketing department at UNLV

That would be really nice. The SMS service would be good for reminders for subscribers. TV would be advertising. Both are needed really.
