Here is a story that will help us all - 2 farmers are standing outside the feed store and a guy pulls up and says hi, i'm from out of town and looking for a good town to move to. How are the people in this town? The older farmer asks the man How are the people in the town you come from? Man says they are horrible. No one talks to anyone, no one helps each other out, all they do is complain about everything. The old farmer says sadly you will find the same type of people here. Man says thank you for the warning i'll move on to find a better society. Ten minutes later another man pulls up to the farmers and says hi, i'm from out of town and looking for a good town to move to. How are the people in this town? The older farmer asks the man How are the people in the town you come from? Man says they are fantastic. We all help each other out, have parties, share chores, share babysitting responsibilities etc.. Old farmer tells the guy you are in luck, you will find the same type of people here. When guy leaves younger farmer asks older farmer why he gave different answers to the different men. Old farmer says because each person is responsible for how their environment is. If you want friends you need to be friendly. If you want others to help you you must help others. You must give to receive. Woman tells fireplace give me heat, fireplace says give me wood first.
