"The first step in creating an improved future is developing the ability to envision it. VISION will ignite the fire of passion that fuels our commitment to do WHATEVER IT TAKES to achieve excellence. Only VISION allows us to transform dreams of greatness into the reality of achievement through human action. VISION has no boundaries and knows no limits. Our VISION is what we become in life."

Coach Tony Dungy

Our VISION is Atlas City.

This is cool and very inspiring!

As long as we keep the VISION, and the fire in our hearts ignited anything is possible. Atlas is an incredible aspiration and if done right, it can become one of the greatest achievements humanity has ever seen.
Once you realize that every beings purpose in life is to learn, it becomes easier to forgive them for their mistakes.

The future doesn’t exist. The only time we can be peaceful is now, because now is all that exists.

In Atlas City can I own my own home? One that has more than one bedroom and gives me the flexibilty to expand my family. I want a house that no one can take away and that I can change if I want.
I want protection from the elements; such as tornados. Right now because I am poor I can not own my own home. I called habitat for humanity yet they said I was too low income. I never heard of anyone being too poor for certian social programs.
I am only comfortable working at home; would I have the flexiblity to continue to work from home?
What about a Dr? Health insurance would be elminated so would that mean I can finally have a Dr so when I am sick I don't have to go to the hospital.
This means I would not have to move very year when my rent goes up, I would not need a co-signer and I would not have to cry over worrying about my future.
I want this to happen when I am still young enough to enjoy it. I am 35 years old. Could this be possible in the next 5 years. I want my parents to live to see this as well.
I am a perfect example of why captilism does not work. I can not be with my boyfriend because of money, I can't have children and ultimately I might be homeless. When Obama keeps saying inflation is negative and I don't get a raise.(I am on SSDI.); then I will fall further and further behind.
I live on $800 a month. I don't really want money I just want a decent life. Will I see it in my lifetime?

Yes, you will have your own living quarters that will accomodate family needs(900 sq foot for a single person and larger for families).

The concept is that the facilities are so nice that you will want and we encourage you to enjoy common rooms, restaurants, rec centers and theater rooms and socialize, but you will have private living quarters, including rooms, TV, computer, small kitchen and of course bathroom(s).

Medical and dental care centers is an essential part of the city. The center of the city is a teaching University Hospital.

will I be stuck with a one bedroom again? I was trying to be a foster parent but I can't because I only have one bedroom apartment. Will there be a small office space as well for people who work from home.
Is there a basement for tornados.
All I really want is a townhouse or condo type home with 2 bedrooms, small office and a small basement for tornados. 900 sq feet should be enough. If I am right that is about the same as a 2 bedroom apartment. I really don't want to have to move when my family grows though.

Dreamseeker, thought I'd mention you really won't "own" a home or anything for that matter. Owning or the belief of something being yours is really an illusion. Think of the home as being "something Atlas City will let you rest your eyes in", not "something you and only you can own".

Oh and also you guys, take advantage of the private messaging system that is set up. Go up to the "Interact" menu and click Private Messaging.
