I have some ideas for those, tho this is kind of cheating as these kind of started out as housing.

What are your ideas for Hospitals + Schools?

Originally, the hospital and university were going to be a singular, tall, spire in the center of the city. We are predicting that with the healthy lifestyle, preventative care, and continuous care the space needed by the hospital could be greatly reduced compared to a normal one outside. And with the 10 wing building you posted, it could give a separate area for classes.

Benefits of this:
Students are not in constant contact with potentially dangerous illness and materials.
Students are not directly in the way of medical staff.
Students classes are in close proximity to other social activities, connecting the college more to the convention halls then the hospital.
Parks, pools and other outdoor activities can be placed in between the wings for outdoor interactions.
Medical students will be close to hospital for on-site training and experience.

These are just a few off the top of my head.

I like singular tall spires, and I will be happy to draw some. I like them best when surrounded by halfling buildings to give them meaning for foot print instead of just poking phallicly up into space with all of the materials.

Wings are very useful for other reasons including that it makes the design modular so you can build it sections at a time and have some sections finished before others are started.

I have designed hospitals before and the key to the whole thing with that and wings is to separate the wings that are in the hospital via security desks and scrub rooms, so that people get washed up when they travel from wing to wing.

I have a lot of images and a lot of files and I could post them, but I do want to try to get you guys to challenge me to make new ones instead of rely on the old.

So lets hear some ideas for some buildings?

i guess has anyone asked the question, can we fit a university and a hospital in the same building?

those 2 are generally extremely large, each taking many buildings..

Our theorized hospital was projected to be quite smaller then a normal hospital due to our different healthy lifestyles and exercise/nutrition programs. I suppose a good deal of it will be for teaching medical students in the field though. For all other classes, it does make more sense to keep it separate from potentially hazardous materials and pathogens. This is why the wings could be a good idea, especially with the proper barriers between them and the hospital.

i agree on a wings idea, however, it doesnt necessarily have to be in a spherical pattern
