in this thread i will attempt to explain an analogy why rich people like bill gate, and others doing charity to help the poor will not make them any better.
Problem no 1:
assume u are rich, then give monetary support to the poors, etc etc.. what you have done is actually give them the house, food, furniture, education and the rest. there is nothing wrong in this, but the problem is when the 'gift' they received will started to broke, not working, and they will going back to poor again.
let me explain in detail, even assume an african has received good education, there are still many unemployment (same in developed countries) no matter how much they know. after that, most of these ppl will have to venture into business (

usually in this case, businesses have created SO MANY unnecessary things in the economy & this is a huge wastage. u dont have to believe me, try do some research.. furthermore, with more business popped up, but debt is even bigger and number of bankruptcy will increased. (assume you had watch the
zeitgeist addendum movie, it had explain why)
Problem no 2 :
now lets assume, helping the poor, he/she gets the job actually before heading into that. we have to look at the typical business point of view first. assume helping 100 poor people in africa, but the business itself must also need to be able to make profit.
so why on earth it makes sense business able to hire all the 100 poor african? in capitalism, the less worker you have is the best and maximize the production output so business only able to thrive.
the point of business is all about profit/self-preserving, the problem why they still hiring is because the job hasnt been automated yet. and if u think we should keep doing this and inherit this knowledge of selfishness to our children, think again or unless thats why war,crime is inevitable?
for eg wastage, if current economy system is fair, why would CCTV, security firm business is booming? why is there need to protect? security business will not solve the root of the problem, same with police, military, except it is very obvious few elites want to maintain the hierarchy of privileges
Problem no 3 :
the issue with monetary system and capitalism, is they must be poor people in existence in order for this current system running, thats the point. so thats why on earth rich people would help the poor?
Solution :
the only possible solution is Atlas city project, Resource based economy, although we havent worked out social structure and philosophical details, at least there is no form of manipulating because there is no money. and equality can be much assured how everyone is involved in the production of good and services that human really needs, not creating wastage like current world.
then in RBE, we are not owning anyone
IN ORDER NEED TO SURVIVE, which current monetary system, bank owned business ----> general people/worker depend on business to survive, as long as corporation do anything they want, and business come out no debt & profit, they are able to topple the gov decision. this is giving chance for abuse, monetary system is a black hole for possible destruction.
