A few things, these are preliminary estimations, they will change. I just wanted to offer specific examples to illicit ideas. The outline is attached, I made it before I was aware of Atlas so please dismiss the title IRBECD (Initiative for RBE City Development)

1) I based these estimates on the circular city, as its the cheapest most efficient design. I didn't see any outlines for city shape here so forgive me if this has already been brought up. The circle city does host equidistance among other benefits, so it has my vote.

2) I based residential belts on housing, not apts, so this could change. The population I referred to was much smaller, and imo, much more feasible. Its better not to have a large number of people that can be harmed if the system fails.

3) The city I outlined is a model city, and is a research experiment to verify our proposals. This is important, I believe maintaining this endeavor as a scientific experiment will reduce opposition as well as bring in grants. In this case, children could not live in the city, as children participating in research which may cause harm is illegal.

4) I based this on the assumption that our plans were to lay out schematics, attain funding from grants and donations, and hire businesses to construct the city itself. I don't believe we Atlas supporters have the resources or skills needed to build a city, so I assumed we needed other organizations for the construction.

5) The companies I found are just examples. However, Contour Crafting and aquaponics should be first on our list, as both are nonprofit. We can hire companies for underground piping, fiberoptics, for solar panels, for windmills, for geothermal, for cybernetic installation, for automation, for aquaponic installation, for waste management facilities, for everything needed.

I think if we can get a detailed blueprint of the city, which Im working on and if anyone else has been please let me know.

that is quite an impressive beginning of documentation.

as far as atlas goes, we have been putting off specifics of a few topics because we havent pin-pointed an industry yet. once that is done we can more easily estimate populations, land sizes, and even the education specializations which are most needed.

i thank you for this outline though as it always helps.
