Here's a pretty interesting design that was sent to me. Automobile engine that have two pistons per chamber.

i dont know jack about mechanical stuff such as this, but if what this guy is saying is double energy output per the same amount of fuel vs a conventional combustion engine, then i would say this is very cool and will decrease fuel consumption. however, think if these guys spent their time making some cool electric motors XD

I don't know much about it either. On further research it seems to be a design that has popped up occasionally in the past, but has had issues. I don't know enough to discuss the pros and cons further, but it's interesting to anyone that wishes to.
