Basics/minimum for a city
Housing - Kitchen/bathroom/bedroom/living areas
Medical/Dental - and small support staff
Manufacturing/Industry - solar panel research committee
- growing expensive plants/herbal/vitamins
Agricultural/Aquaponics - committee for these
Education
Recreation - rec center, swimming pool, racket ball, gym, bikes
Food Service - one mess hall, eating healthy important, automated ordering services (possibly tied into rooms)
Library in community center (book donations)
Power - solar, wind, battery banks, hydrogen - need power committee
Water - needs some kind of management/committee. drill for water, will need licensing and drilling permits
septic system
laundry service - leave in mesh bags and washed in very large machines
recycling
spiritual center
sustainable housing - population per acre ratio need a housing and probably a property committee
grants

overall : we need to get organized especially on the committee front to get the ball rolling.

Yes getting the ball rolling!

Grants and funding is the current topic at hand and we are working on it. First there have to be a NPO bank account so we can pay for the DimDim account and accept donations to help pay for flyers and cds and things like that.

Our original plan of making all funding viewable by anyone is going to happen. I did some research today and I think we will be going with Nevada State Bank since they have all kinds of freebies for NPO's . The Oversight will have to be present to sign paperwork.

From here we can do events and start really putting the word out about Atlas and getting grants to buy land for Atlas and getting our name into the universities to find upcoming scientists and engineers that want to help make Atlas a reality.

Its starting to get exciting!

I'm starting to get quite a few people interested in Atlas. I'm talking with several software developers on getting the ball rolling for Atlas software too

Also Rob, it would great if you could go into the forum and:
1) Create committee forum areas for Power, Water, Agriculture, Industry and Property Committees.
2) I don't know if you ever got my email a few days back, but I would like the AOSDT description to be changed to:

3)Create child boards branching off AOSDT for:

1. Atlas Online Tools
2. AtlasUI
3. Resource Management System
4. Software Requests / Other

It would be great... Except it is currently in question as to whether or not you will be allowed to retain your membership on the Atlas Initiative website.

We have worked hard just to get this far and you are not showing any respect for it. This NPO is very important to us Josh. You will be contacted through email when the discussion is finished.

You do realize that if you do delete my account I can just create a new one or learn a bit from my pentesting book on injecting data (old account information) into your Joomla user database.

It would be pointless to remove me.

Also, this matter should not interfere with what I stated above, we need those committees to get the city even running or the land examined properly. The least you could do is fulfill whats on that list, I mean, it only takes like...5 minutes if that.

Is that a direct threat to an Oversight Member and the Atlas Initiative Group site?

Its not a threat to an Oversight member and I can't threaten a piece of information. I was just merely pointed out the fact its pointless to remove my account when I can just make a new one.

Either way, the issue is resolved. No need to continue the fighting, lets get to work shall we!
